In the competitive market of residential and industrial electrical, Thompson Electric, a Middle Tennessee-based electrical contractor, is known for exceptional quality service and workmanship. Although they have a great reputation among their customers, they lacked a strong brand identity and desired to reach new customers.

Our recommendation? A brand positioning strategy and a beautiful, lead-generating website that not only showed off their services but also highlighted their expert team.

Our first step in this project was to establish a brand position that stood out among the competition while still remaining true to the heart of the company. We worked to gain a deeper understanding of Thompson Electric’s customer base and what they were looking for in an electrical contractor. As a B2B and B2C brand, they needed to appeal to residential customers and industrial customers alike. We helped Thompson Electric stand out as the clear choice by touting its capabilities and expertise while maintaining a welcoming and friendly tone that felt authentic to the organization.

Following the brand positioning strategy, we partnered with Fifth & Broad to capture professional photos and videos. We worked together with Thompson Electric and Fifth & Broad to script, storyboard, and coordinate shoots. The result? Beautiful, professional photos and videos that would take their new website design to the next level.

For the website design, we focused on two distinct areas of their business: residential and commercial. We included SEO-rich content that would help customers find their services in organic search, whether they were building a new home from the ground up, or simply needed an electrical repair in their home or business. Another important focus was to appeal to potential employees. We created a space where applicants could learn about open jobs and submit their resumes. In all, Thompson Electric got a significant upgrade.

The end result? An attractive brand, a website that is SEO-optimized, simple to navigate, and a strong digital foundation for the brand for years to come.
